New GAC GS3 from Stock: Pre-Delivery Inspection Checklist

A new GS3 stock offer needs a defined status and a completed preparation record. Establish the production and registration details, then check the actual car and supplied equipment. A catalogue trim, low displayed distance or fresh presentation does not replace a vehicle-specific pre-delivery inspection and clear acceptance conditions.

CHECK 01

Agree what new means for this order

State whether the buyer requires an unregistered car, a particular production period or another specific status. The new and used buying guide separates those requirements from individual condition. Keep production, registration and sale information distinct instead of allowing one recent date to imply that every other status condition is satisfied.

Ask the supplier which records support the description. If a candidate does not meet a strict condition, review it as an alternative rather than silently broadening the customer’s definition. Clear status criteria are particularly useful when the dealer is open to several years but does not intend to accept every kind of stock vehicle.

The demonstrator/unused-stock comparison retains unused delivery scope independently of a customer-approved demonstration-history concession.

CHECK 02

Check storage and handling history proportionately

Request known storage, movement and preparation information and have the actual condition assessed. Time in stock is not proof of deterioration, but neither is an unused appearance evidence that all relevant checks can be skipped. Ask the provider to identify present findings and the work, if any, needed before release.

Record disclosed cosmetic correction or other repair accurately. Do not automatically classify every prepared car as unacceptable, or assume the new label means no work has occurred. The buyer’s decision should use a precise account of material preparation and current condition, with unresolved history kept visible where it affects acceptance.

CHECK 03

Require a completed PDI for the selected vehicle

Ask for the inspection date, vehicle identity, provider and actual checklist outcome. A sample form demonstrates a process; it does not show the offered car has been checked. Keep planned work separate from completed work, and ask how exceptions are recorded and closed before the vehicle is described as ready.

The record should be appropriate to the configuration being supplied. Do not reuse a different model’s or market’s preparation outcome because the vehicles share a manufacturer. If a finding requires specialist assessment, retain that step and its conclusion rather than allowing a general passed stamp to hide an unresolved concern.

CHECK 04

Verify the customer’s essential cabin functions

Create a short list of the controls and features that determine acceptance and ask for suitable demonstrations. The phone-projection guide helps distinguish CarPlay, Android Auto and ordinary Bluetooth use. Reference images of an overseas cabin are not proof of the fitted software or steering position in the actual offer.

Where language, accounts or online services matter, record the verified result and untested dependencies individually. Avoid promising universal destination operation from a source-location demonstration. The customer can make a practical decision when limitations are explicit; a broad international-ready label leaves too much unexplained for a dealer purchase.

For any software change during preparation, retain the supported update and repeated function result. A completed update number cannot replace the buyer’s essential demonstrations.

CHECK 05

Include climate and condition checks relevant to use

For a hot-climate order, the air-conditioning review adds useful context to the functional assessment. Ask what was observed under which conditions instead of requiring an invented universal temperature or cooling time. Keep any recommended further assessment in the preparation list.

Review other relevant condition items through the appropriate inspection, including tyres, body presentation and disclosed concerns. A new-stock enquiry can still require evidence of current condition after storage or handling. The scope should be proportionate and clear, without treating the PDI as a guarantee against every future fault or ownership expense.

CHECK 06

Count the actual supplied items

Reconcile keys, tools, manuals and agreed accessories with the accepted offer. Identify any item to be supplied separately and who is responsible for it. A phone demonstration using the workshop’s adapter does not establish that the accessory is part of the price or will travel with the vehicle.

Keep previous-user data and account preparation within supported processes. Where the receiving customer must perform a setup step, state the requirement clearly. A completed handover list is more useful than an attractive delivery photograph that leaves the dealer uncertain about missing items or the steps needed to reproduce a demonstrated function.

CHECK 07

Review changes before releasing the order

If the selected car, fitted equipment or preparation scope changes, repeat the affected checks. An earlier PDI or feature demonstration should not be transferred automatically to a substitute. Retain final condition evidence close enough to handover to explain what was actually supplied after the agreed preparation and handling.

Send Panda the required status, accepted versions, destination and quantity, then distinguish mandatory functions from preferences. Ask the offer to show included preparation and remaining conditions. The finished record should connect the customer’s request to this GS3, rather than relying on the reassuring word new to cover gaps in specification or delivery evidence.

Make the next request specific.

Send the condition, accepted years and version, destination and quantity. Include the items that must be confirmed before you accept a candidate. A sourcing enquiry begins the discussion; availability and purchase terms require an actual offer.
